When exactly does the Wii U media briefing start on the 13th of September?

Nintendo is hosting a media briefing for the Wii U on the 13th of September in New York City. This is where we expect to find out the release date and price of the system. But what time will the event be held? The answer:

10:00am to 4:00pm EDT. (You can use Google to find a time zone converter, if need be.)

And yes, the event does last six hours. But that’s including the hands-on time for those in attendance. The talking part with Reggie on stage will probably last an hour or so.

    Will it have a live stream? I hope they talk more about Miiverse, WiiU eShop and the upcoming games.

      Oh man, I’m really excited for Miiverse. While the message system was ok with the wii, this will take it to a whole new lvl. And I hope most people on this site will add each other if they decide to get Wii U’s. I know I will. Maybe David can open like a forum for people to do that.

      Lets hope Miiverse on the 3DS will be connect to the Wii U and then we can talk to Wii U friends! :D

      Yea I hope so. But the way they make it sound, Miiverse is like one big app. Cuz in that Nintendo Direct presentation of Zombi U, this guy had Miiverse connected to his phone and laptop. So I’m sure it will be. And hopefully the Wii U eshop has good Gamecube games to download so I can play the ones I never got to play, just like I got to play those gba games on 3ds for the first time.

      Maybe they will remove the friend list and replace it with Miiverse? What I really hope is that they make Miiverse A MULTI-TASK APP! Thats what I want. With some menus appearing like “YOUR FRIEND IS ONLINE” “Your friend sent you a message” stuff like that! So playing and chatting online can be easier! Oh man I cant wait.

    At that meeting they should change make the U stand for Wii Ultra. Lol. But I think Wii U gives it that “new” feeling.

    Man it would be awesome if the Wii U gets Gamecube games in it’s Eshop and if they even did HD updates for that game…. Well let’s just say Nintendo will get all of my money.

    this year. so that i wont have to complain about wanting to play skyward sword 1 full year ago, and only complain about it being just 10-11 months of waiting, becuz the wii died with pathetic disk readers. well not died, just, it cant read disks anymore. last year on christmas.

    I think the Wii U will launch on Nov. 18. It’s a day before the Wii launched (in North America) and it’s a week before the week of Black Friday, giving Nintendo some time to build hype.
