Little Inferno, from the makers of World of Goo, launched alongside the Wii U via the eShop, and numerous reviews have appeared online. If you haven’t picked up the game, you might like to check them out.

Joystiq:

…even though it willfully and intentionally wastes your time, it’s not a waste of time itself. The creepy atmosphere, the single-minded focus on extremely minimal actions, and the mocking self-awareness all contribute to a deft statement on games and how we play them.

Nintendo World Report:

Little Inferno is terrific the way it is, and doesn’t need to conform just to fit inside a box. In the end, it’s enough to just snuggle up around the fire and keep it well fed.

Shack News:

Some may not care for the ending, while others may not mind a little sentiment. Either way, Little Inferno’s creativity and style are refreshingly entertaining and definitely worth experiencing, even if all you’re looking for is an homage to those camping trips of yore.

If you have played the game, feel free to share your opinion in the comments section.

People are already sharing their opinion on Little inferno on Wii U’s Miiverse application. Have you seen some of the comments on that community? Thank god they’re in electronic format, because if it were written on paper, then their arsonistic ways would spread like the plague.

I enjoyed it. But it’s not really a ‘game’ in the typical sense. It’s more of a puzzle-story. With humour. And a message.

So, if you like puzzles, stories, humour, or messages – get this ‘game’.
