    I was really glad to hear about the virtual console. I just hope I can play n64 games on the gamepad. I already have mario kart, star fox, kirby 64 and paper mario on my wii. Paper mario is the one I´m looking forward to play on a gamepad

    No offence David, cuz I’d like to like what you’re doing here, but I don’t. This news is really late. Maybe there’s something I don’t know about, but at this rate, even your most dedicated fans will eventually turn to something/someone else.

      I do to sometimes like ill go on ign or gamespot but i still find that David puts way more info on here than gaming sites so regardless even if he is late which doesn’t really bother me like it happens sometimes its not like its something he does often but ya regardless he puts up more stuff like the little things or details hints ect…. while other gaming sites dont because they focus more on the big picture and have other consoles to focus on as well while of course david focuses on the big picture too.

      I didn’t know about the Nintendo Direct because David didn’t mention it ahead of time. He should let other people write on this blog like the 3DS one. Or he should just merge the two blogs together…. At least it’s not as bad as wiiugo.com :( I guess I need to add some more frequent sources for the lastest info.

      I was thinking that he was taking to long to post the news of nintendo direct. But then I realized that he has a life outside the blog too, and probably had very important things to do. He does a great job with all the updates

      Seriously this blog needs to be updated more often. I’ve been following 3DS blog since before the 3DS was released and this blog since it was named thenintendostream.com. I used to check the blogs everyday for news but now its not worth it since news here is posted like 3 days after its news.

      yes, i mean its been a week since he posted this and there is nothing new…. he can do research and find artwork for yoshi wich i found by myself ¬¬ so dont say its impossible (new artwork that didnt appear on the video) and some espectations/opinions like he used to do.

      Three days is pretty late for news… I remember checking these blogs several times a day, with a new update at least once per day. That’s the whole reason I visited the site so much.

      i donnt quite get what ur getting at david posts the info of the game news first before the direct so he aint late hes just doing what he always dose

      and what im saying is that the purpose of a blog is to invoke conversation witch its doing quite well hell theres been no news on ign or game spot for the last while too

      The point of this blog is for David to provide you with the latest Wii U news, I’ve been here since it started, and it is pretty slow now, but David has always written more often on the 3DS blog, now that the Wii U is out, it is no longer acceptable to only post news on a random day once a week. People just want David to know this, you do not need to defend him. IGN & Gamespot on the other hand have plenty to talk about besides the Wii U. I’m just here for the latest Wii U news. It is unfair to neglect the Wii U blog only. Which is why I think he should merge the two of them.

      For people who want to see some more frequent updates, I recommend you try visiting Wii U Daily once in a while.

    The only major question that wasn’t addressed is… What on earth is Retro working on?! It looks like they are saving that for E3 so that there is something brand new that we don’t know about.

      im actually glad retro hasn’t revealed anything yet. this way the game will be much better now that its not being pressured to be rushed by the fans. think about how painful the wait for the new zelda and smash bros is right now. retro will probably release their game soon after announcement if they keep holding out on what they’re doing.

    David, Im not trying to be mean, but do you think your could try updating a bit more oftenly? i mean, some of these people might not even realise the zelda book is out yet, and they need to know if they ordered and what not.

    This was not a Nintendo Direct, this was an anticipated E3! :-P I fear Patcher and Nintendo haters can’t sleep any more: Wii U is more than alive, and we’re going to enjoy our jewel better and better. Sorry for that! :)
