Toki Tori 2 to support cross-platform save files?

Two Tribes, the makers of Toki Tori 2 (which was confirmed for the Wii U) have asked their followers what they would like to see in the game. One follower said that they would like support for Steam Cloud. To this, the developers responded with:

Cross platform PC/Wii U saves! Wouldn’t that be nice ;)

And of course, it’s that winking-face at the end that makes it seem like the feature will be in the game, or is at least being thought about seriously.

Update: Unfortunately, Two Tribes has confirmed this was “nothing more” than a follower suggestion. So that’s a bummer.

    There was a rumor about Steam and Origin coming to the Wii U, this would certainly add credit to that.
    There is also talk that Steam’s ‘console’ was scrapped because they could run it on the Wii u with out the risk (cost) of developing a machine

      In today’s day and age, using that means they ARE being serious….Or at least seriously considering it.

    If the Wii U (Tentative title) had Steam, I would be one happy SOB…’cuz that means L4D2 on Wii U…I hope…

    if they re-ported all valve games to wii u (not everything on steam… thats too much work) including hats with tf2…… ^_^
