The update file sizes for Nintendo Land, ZombiU, and New Super Mario Bros. U

Nintendo Wii U Console Hardware System Side

There’s updates available for Nintendo Land, ZombiU, and New Super Mario Bros. U, all of which will require a small sacrifice in hard drive space. The exact file sizes are as follows:

  • Nintendo Land — 221mb
  • ZombiU — 18mb
  • New Super Mario Bros. U — 29mb

None of the sizes are too ridiculous for the moment though.

    Everybody shouldn’t really concerns themselves with game updates/patches in terms of their file sizes (except for that hefty day one 1GB system update or games downloaded digitally). Updates on some games on the PS3 and 360 are far more larger than what is posted here so let’s not make it a big deal. :)
    And sometimes updates will overwrite themselves an not particularly stack every time there’s an update.

      I remember buying Battlefield 3 a few months ago and having to download a 2680MB patch (I think). Never played it again, and all that wasted memory cannot be erased from my PS3′s HDD. On the Wii U, however, patches are far less annoying, and… I could never stop playing all of these games.

      Gotta love Wii U.

    yeah Nintendo need a update my system freeze up at times and the games and market needs a patch the menu screen loads to slow for a 4th gen console Nintendo just made it to 3rd gen that’s disapoimting Nintendo has to do something fast those ppl with 8gb getting only 3gb

      Um, Nintendo demolished everyone in the 3rd and 4th generation of consoles. The NES was the best, and the SNES destroyed every console in it’s generation. What made you think that this gen is the 4th gen? We’re all the way in the 8th generation with the Wii U now. Where have you been during the prevoius generations? Lol

    when is nintendo going to release bug fix and patch when u going in to wiius menu settings gets long to load up its not fast selections need to be fast and the menu freezes there is no reset button you have to plug out the cable to get the system back on and some games slow down like zombi u and darksiders 2 when lots of enemies are on screen its like the console slows down needs patch ASAP

    is there any word on Nintendo fixing wiiu’s bugs like system freezing and long menu load times and choppy miiverse and games frame rate dropping in some games allowing the games to skip in some levels of action going on
