The “majority” of Nintendo-published titles will see a digital release via the Wii U

Nintend has revealed that “the majority of Nintendo-published Wii U games will be available both as packaged products and as digital downloads starting on launch day”. You’ll be able to purchase entire titles for the platform via the eShop and download them to your system. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

      Pretty sure they confirmed there’d be 8 gigs of internal flash. But I’m also pretty sure that there will be support for USB drives, and you can get those for pretty cheap. Way cheaper than Xbox drives of the same capacity, at least.

    Can’t wait to see what everything will look like (System Menu, Launch titles, Shop, Built-In-Software etc.). I just hope that all WiiWare games will be playable, and somehow being able to do a system transfer wouldn’t be too bad either.

    This is great.Quick question shoudnt all these news be given at e3?Not saying that this bad by us knowing things before e3 but Im just saying :)And I wonder who is going to be the first person to say he miss spelled Nintendo at the beginning of the article not me though

      they need to get this out so they have enough time to say all the launch titles.

    What this says to me more than anything else is that Nintendo must be extremely confident in their new online system.

      The post has nothing to do with 3rd party support.The 3rd parties can make digital game downloads if they want.The post is only related to Nintendos games…
