Balloon Trip Breeze is one of the mini-games packed in with Nintendo Land, and the first trailer for the game can be found on Game Informer’s website. I suspect we’ll see and hear more about it on September 13th.

Graphically it looks great but It doesn’t really make me go “wow, look at what the Wii U GamePad can do!” And that’s what these games SHOULD be doing.

    • Deboog

I disagree. The gamepad is cute and all, but hardware should support games, not vice versa. The less the gamepad is milked, the better.

Actually, it does. All of the games show different aspects of what the GamePad can do – which includes touchscreen technology. This is the one game that uses that and it should pull in some android users too.

  • Critical Tiger

not very cool….they have more interesting games in it.

  • Hybrilynx

your crazy if this is $50.

    • Jono

it does come with battle quest and the Metroid game, and those look fantastic.

    • Hybrilynx

yeah but these games just look like 12 mini games that would be inside a mario party game. i rather get a mario party game instead if nintendo land is $50.

    • DonnyKD

Yeah, remember that Mario Party minigame with numerous levels and a gameplay style where you are an archer and your friends are swordmen?

      Wait, NO WE DON’T.

I’m not sure that you realise the 12 games have multiple levels within themselves… They’re also a lot more interative than Mario Party and won’t cheat you out of winning because AI has decided you should draw the short straw.

Kee-pa-way and Skate Board Scamper were awesome though.

Technically, it’s 12 games that are based on popular franchises… but its also your own Nintendo theme park, with full online capability and customization with lots more. Its not just a Wii Sports like fare, where you select an attraction with nothing else to it.

  • Deboog

Awww. For I second there I thought we were getting a full fledged new balloon trip game. Oh well. This looks amusing enough.

  • Tails the Foxhound

People can hate all they want, I’ll be getting this game. I was slow to get the M&S Winter Olympics game only to almost miss out on Sonic Adventure On Ice. I was slow to get Fling Smash to almost miss out on a charming challenge game not unlike (an easy) DKCR. I’m pretty much done listening to the internet about what games area good to look forward to and not. (Internet is totally right about Wii Music though.)

  • BJaq

AAahhhhh!!! This is what I’ve been waiting for!!!! So excited! I always wanted at least a resurection of Balloon Fight and now it’s here. I’m totally sold on Nintendo Land after hearing these single-player games within and activities.

  • Beat

Oooh. Maybe they’ll finally come to smash bros now. The Balloon Fighters, I mean.
