A redesigned version of the Nuketown map from Black Ops is available to folks who preorder Black Ops 2, and the first glimpse at that redesign can be seen above (there’s a higher-resolution version after the break).

      Treyarch actually said the original Nuketown map was inspired by the Indiana Jones Crystal Skull scene ;)

      Nuketown is a map that was in the first Black Ops. It took place in the 1960′s. It was a very small area with two houses and some mannequins (not a real person in the picture). The idea is that it was meant to be struck with a nuclear bomb to show the effects of the bomb.

      The image above is showing that you revisit Nuketown. Apparently it did not get nuked and has been left untouched, which is why it looks like it’s from the 1960′s.

      thats not nuketown from black ops. but for the most part, its called nuketown “2025″. and secondly, this one is more old style then the first nuketown. and thirdly, nuketown gets blown up every single time you finish playing on the stage.
