The Amazing Spider-Man is coming to Wii U

Marvel has revealed that The Amazing Spider-Man is coming to the Wii U in Spring 2013. There’ll be “special Gamepad functionality”, including motion controls and the ability to chart a path through the city via a map on the touchscreen, and all of the title’s downloadable content will be included for free.

    I only played the 3ds demo,witch was fun. so mild joy is to be had.

      to be serious, the 3ds spider man demo really sucked. it even glitched on my brothers 3ds and had a guy just dead standing up i think. i kinda forgot what really happened but yeah.

      Really Weird I found collision detection to be a bit weird but thats all I found.

    A friend of mine says that it is actually a great game (while the movie still sucks), so this might actually be great.

      The movie sucks? But it has Emma Stone!…I’ve never seen the movie (yet), but I kept hearing great things about it. The same can’t be said for the game though. I’m hoping for another Spidey game along the lines of Ultimate.

      I actually liked the movie.
      Andrew Garfield played Spiderman greatly, Peter Parker… not so much.

      I thought it was the best Spider-Man movie yet.
      Yes, even better then Spiderman 2.
      I really like the new cast, and the set up and story is much more similar to the comics then the previous movies.

      The moive was AMAZING!!! When I went to see the dark knight rises, nobody was there. Couldve been from the incident in california, but i digress. It’s a good moive none of the less. R,I.P. to the people from the dark knight rises incident.

      I forget. They both started with a C. Colorado reminds me of the High school shooting in 2001. I thinking it’s either Colorado or California. Most likely Colorado.

    I really enjoyed the game on PS3. However, since I already own it on PS3, I don’t think I’ll buy it again. If you didn’t get it yet though by the time it comes out, do consider it. It’s worth a spin.

    WHAT!? I bought the Wii Version and I thought it would be the only one to come out besides the 3ds. The game on the Wii is a ripofff **Spoilers** no free roam in the Wii version. Time to save up again…

      Dude LOOK UP info before you buy. The Wii version is a 3DS Port, plus owning a Wii means ALMOST no free-roam.

      So did Spider-man 3. I’m pretty sure The Amazing Spider-Man is the first one to not have free roaming on Wii. (I’m not counting SD and EoT because they didn’t have free roam on any console.)

      That’s True Right? if it’s DLC for this game or even a Preorder exclusive i’m gonna be mad especially when you can just NOT get the game.

    stop complaining not everyone has played this game yet, I only have a wii,ipod touch 5g and a nexus 7 tablet and a macbook pro

    I cant wait to play this, I have spoiled myself my watching all the cutscenes on youtube but it’ll be a fun game still, swinging around and beating up criminals never gets old

    The only Spiderman game I played that wasnt mediocre or garbage was Spiderman 2 for Gamecube. It still wasnt that great IMO
