Team Ninja to announce a new game at Tokyo Game Show — will it come to Wii U?

Team Ninja plans to announce a new game via the Tokyo Game Show. We’re not sure what the game is, or if it’d even come to a Nintendo platform. But the developers have supported Nintendo quite actively in recent memory, so maybe this is something that will arrive on the Wii U? Even if it’s not an exclusive title, a multi-platform title would still assumably arrive on the Wii U. There’s no real reason it couldn’t, at least.

    Also something about the Xenoblade Chronicles developers saying to keep a close eye on TGS.

      I would like to play Xenoblade HD version on the Wii U since i never had a Wii and i missed this awesome game! I think is too soon for XenobladeII but again it might be something completely different

      If the reason is the story, blame Sakamoto (Of Super Metroid fame). If gameplay, blame Team Ninja.

      While it´s to blame he whose names should not be spoken for the horrible story and samus characterisation, i don’t think that team ninja should put his hands on Samus Body, knowing what they actually were to do in the firth place and what they do at the end

      i didn’t really like the way you went from 3rd person to 1st but other then that i got to say game play was good

      I guess I’ll have to say this every time Other M gets brought up:

      The bad parts of M:OM, the parts you all hate, are Nintendo’s fault.
      Story was Yoshio Sakamoto, Wiimote only was also Sakamoto’s choice,
      pixel hunt segments were Sakamoto, shoehorned first person
      implementation? You got it, Sakamoto. They pretty much forced Team Ninja
      to do a lot of this. Actually, the linear level design was more than
      likely TN’s fault, I haven’t heard any evidence to the contrary at any
      rate. Then again, Fusion was pretty linear too.

      I’d personally love to see Team Ninja do Metroid again, this time
      with full control of the gameplay. Sakamoto should probably let someone
      else at Nintendo head up the story though, he’s horrible at telling one
      *reposted from last time*

      i would also like retro to do another metroid game then did a great job with the prime series then just need to make prime 4 or something to go along with the secret ending of prime 3

      Actually the first game was a lot of fun (not for the reasons you think). I actually had some heated matches against my little sister. I also had way too much fun in the casino.

      i know where your going with this but it would be boring you probably would only play something like that for 10 hours and be done with it

    Well-I still think other M was great storywise-I also liked the gameplay,but it was my first Metroid and I know many would have liked an fps as the previous ones.I personally think if it would be metroid , it WILL be an fps-because the WiiU targets Hardcore players.

      actually i think a 3rd person view would be amazing but the last one had 2d which i didn’t really like lots of people hated the story but you got to feel how you would feel if you lost your first son or something :( it would be sad but it kind of dragged on overall i think team ninja should do something else or do a complete 3rd person view and the wiiu pad as thermal vision/scanner would make the game be better then there last or i would love to see retro do a prime 4 if you can you should try to rent prime 3 it was pretty awesome ;)

      well I decided it should be my last Wii title – because I can get the trilgogy for about 30€ in Gamestop ,and also buy TLOZ Twilight Princess – but I have no clue how I can manage to get that much free time – although I am in 11th grade,I still can´t enjoy “Wii time”atm , so it might be I will get the Trilogy not for Wii but WiiU…

    I hope it’s Dead or Alive 5 if it’s a new port. Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2 if it’s an old port. I have no idea what I want from them as far as new games though.

      I hope for DOA 5 too..lets say they will bring it to the Wii U do u think they gonna release it close date with Tekken tag or later so both will sell better? I wannna have these 2 fighting games 1st thing!

      If they’re smart, it’ll release after Tekken. Tekken has always sold better than DoA, releasing them side by side won’t do Team Ninja any favors.
