The Green Lantern cares not if he’s on your TV or GamePad.

As reported by Silconera, what will set the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us apart from other console versions is the ability to play off-screen using the GamePad. The real question is, can this be used as a selling point? Do you think the ability to play away from the TV can give a game the ability to be a system seller? It’s very nifty, I’ll admit, but I feel Wii U games will have to have more than just the ability to play solely on the GamePad to be superior to other versions of the same game.

Anyway, with the game to be released on April 16th in North America, and on April 19th in Europe, are you ready to make the purchase of Injustice: Gods Among Us?

Above you can watch the annoucnement trailer for Smurfs 2, the game based on the upcoming movie, The Smurfs 2. WayForward and Ubisoft are the developers for the game, which might be a good thing, because the games based on The Smurfs as well as the movie itself wasn’t exactly the most popular content of its time.

Ubisoft has been showing a lot of support for the Wii U lately, while WayForward worked with Capcom on the upcoming nostalgia remaster, DuckTales: Remastered. However, do you think they can make this game good? Just looking at the Likes/Dislikes ratio on the above trailer should tell you what other games think already.

The release date for the game is June 19th.

Game & Wario 5Yes, but having your games released also helps.

GameFly has made a listing for Game & Wario on their website for availability on June 30th in North America. Whether this is just a placeholder or the release date is yet to be known. Nothing is available on the game itself, however, such as boxart, on GameFly. The game was originally released in Japan on the Wii U at the end of March, so it’s entirely possible North America could expect a localization this year. Now we just await an official confirmation.

Planes
It’s rude to stare, ya know?

Disney will be releasing Disney’s Planes, the video game, on August 6th, a bit before the CGI Film of the same name is released in theaters. So, if the game has anything to do with the plot of the film.. I was going to say, just buy the game and don’t see the film, but the game will no doubt be more expensive than a ticket to see the film.
