We’ve got good news for Wii U owners of Injustice: Gods Among Us. We will indeed be receiving DLC this summer for the Wii U version of the game.

This is no laughing matter.
Well, okay, it may not be a laughing matter, but it’s not as if the game was canceled or something. For no apparent reason, Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that the game release will be delayed one week in the UK, as reported by CVG. This means the game will be released on April 26th in the UK. Wii U Daily also mentions a season pass for DLC was announced for other versions of the game, but not for the Wii U.
Although we don’t have much information in regards to the delay, but when more information is released, we’ll keep you updated.
Injustice: Gods Among Us has received a lot of press coverage the last few weeks, and for good reason. The game has been shaped up to be a smash hit by developer, NetherRealm Studios. Silconera has conducted a last minute interview with the development team on how the game has become what it is.

Warner Bros. has released an image containing many super-heroes and super-villains. It’s a large image, but has some great profile information on everybody’s beloved heroes and crazed villains.

As reported by Silconera, what will set the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us apart from other console versions is the ability to play off-screen using the GamePad. The real question is, can this be used as a selling point? Do you think the ability to play away from the TV can give a game the ability to be a system seller? It’s very nifty, I’ll admit, but I feel Wii U games will have to have more than just the ability to play solely on the GamePad to be superior to other versions of the same game.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will be with us in April 16th in North America and April 19th in Europe. This game will have all of your favourite superheros such as Batman, The Flash, and even the great Superman.
The game will run at an amazing 60FPS, will feature DLC in the future, and you can use the GamePad to access your quick moves list or even play without the TV. Have fun running into peoples faces with Batman.
