Vita & Ferrari? Common things are that they both have power but they freeze (Ferrari needs cold temperature for that) and there is no enought space inside for all your stuff? (Vita has too big games for so small memory cards)

vita already has a better library of HARDCORE games than 3ds, if your a hardcore gamer(pro race driver) you’ll appreciate the vita more.

I don’t simply see hardcore games as realistic games, fighing-heavy, or bloody, gory games. Most people ask: What is a real hardcore game? A game that is hardcore is a game that matches one or more of these descriptions:
A: a game you’re addicted to and can play for unnaturally long sessions each day. (ex. Pokemon, Skyrim, Final Fantasy, etc.)
B: a game you play competetively with others (sometimes to tournament level like MLG). (ex. Smash Bros, CoD, Starcraft, etc.)
C: a game that really challenges your ability, pushing your skills to their limits. (ex. most arcade games, F-Zero, etc.)
So Nintendo does cater to the hardcore audience in multiple respects. They always have, right along side their competitors.
The 3DS has games you can be addicted to (Animal Crossing), games you can play competitively (Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus Uprising), and games that can test your skills (Pushmo, Crashmo).

I own a Vita and love it but to claim its a handheld ps3 is bull crap. Yeah its got great graphics but not ps3 quality

How is it far superior? The 3DS has tons more great games than Vita, which has almost no good games at all. And if you look at the sales, the 3DS is completely OWNING Vita in that regard. So all-in-all, Vita is far inferior than 3DS.

The PS Vita has failed.

It has NO Resident Evil, while the 3DS has 3, with 2 out now.

It has NO Monster Hunter, while the 3DS has 2.

It has NO good RPG’s, while the 3DS is booming.

it has NO good digital exclusives, while the 3DS is packing.

It has NO IOS ports, while the 3DS keeps getting Angry Birds & Speed X & Monster Shooter & so fort.

It has NO Kingdom Hearts.

The PS Vita will go the GameGear way.

I would never replace my dedicated hand held games with just a phone/tablet, but that doesn’t mean they’re not becoming competitive. And who said I was talking about “cheap two bit “games” on them are no where near comparible to the true gaming experiences”? I’m talking about games like Dead Space, Carnivores, and GTA. Any game that fully utilizes the OUYA’s specs won’t run on anything but the best tablets. Have you seen what the Unity engine can do on those things? This bullcrap about how Android will never be a liable gaming platform is just ignorant. Android is a fun version of Linux, and if Linux can do great gaming, even getting Steam, then so can Android, just on a slightly smaller scale.

Well, it’ll have steam, but it won’t be able to run everything. Half life 1 and 2, and probably team fortress 2 with lower settings. How do I know it’ll have steam you ask? Simple, the OUYA is meant to be modified, and since it’s not locked I should be able to easily install Ubuntu on there (hell even Ubuntu for Android if I get lost). That alone makes the OUYA worth it because I can attach a wireless keyboard and mouse and have a full computer on a little box hooked up to my tv. The Wii U browser is awesome, but it doesn’t have anything on chromium on unbuntu. Oh, almost forgot my point, steam is in beta on ubuntu linux, and games run faster and more efficiently then on windows. And have you seen the version of chrome on Android. It’s a great time to be a linux fan. Knowing the luck of linux users, the world is going to end this year…

And while it is true that the GameCube and N64 were better then the other consoles back then, the Wii is hardly comparable to the PS3 and 360, the tech and games are just too different.
The Wii U however, just does not have competition right now. And the eShop right now is better then the XBLA and PSN. Heck, the interface of the currant Wii U is better then the dashboard of the 360 and the…. interface of PSN.
The Vita still fails in comparison to the 3DS, go cry, you can be broke and have your Ferrari, I’ll still have food on my table and a trusty Chevy.

Vit is a flop so shut up, anyway Wii U is superior to Vita and PS3 so Nintendo wins.

The Wii U has a 2 GB RAM & an “IBM POWER 7″ CPU & a 800 MHz clocked Radeon High-Definition GPGPU & 486 shader cores & way more GFLOPs then you can imagine.

And the polygon count is anywhere from 500 million to 1 billion polygons.

And it does 2 different 1080p images at 60 fps each dispite streaming one of them with the home console doing all of the work……..the PS3 can only do 2 different 720p images at 24 fps each, within the system.

So what are the PS Vita specs again? With its one 60 fps 5XXp image.

Even the 3DS does 3 different 60 fps 240p images at once & has over 90 shader cores & so fort while downloading over 300 MB of 3D videos for the “Nintendo Video” App and new firmware and so fort in the background while you are gaming with its GPU producing an additional 15.3 million polygons to what ever amount of polygons it’s CPU produces.

I said the Home Console outputs 1 of its 2 1080p images to the GamePad to receive and that the console does all the work in streaming it to the GamePad.

The Vita only has 4 & 8 GB cartridges.

The 3DS has 2 & 4 & 8 GB cartridges.

The 3DS resistive touch screen is way more accurate & precise then the PS Vita capacitive touch screen.

Plus you can use any physical object on the 3DS touch screen, like an eraser & so fort.

The PS Vita camera frame rate is only 30 fps, but the 3DS camera frame rate for video recording & 3D AR is 60 fps which is much higher then what it does for 3D photo taking which is only 30 fps with current firmware.

Plus the 3DS already has way more better graphics then the Wii in everyway and gets an additional 15.3 million polygons from its GPU, which further buries the Wii…..so how much more better graphics do you need for current Gen handheld.

I mean both 3DS & PS Vita fall in between the Wii & 360, so it’s not giving 3rd party developers enough difference to care about in both specs and therefore graphics.

And they both have Standard-Definition screens………I mean even the DS Lite screen was equvilant to HD because of its smallness for that Standard-Definition display.

And for some reason the 3DS does more in post-processing its photos.

And the Web Browsers might as well be the same, but the 3DS has the additional site viewing of being able to go to 3D websites and there’s a lot of 3D websites, including 3D porn sites.

I agree about the good stuff usually falling under Nintendo & Playstation,but it seems the only good thing Sony had was e PS2.

Both the Wii & PS3 have only had up to 10 games each that I care about.

But both the Wii U & 3DS seem to be making up for that and then some.

The game library of both current & upcoming games speak for themselves.

No, the GamePad is 1080p pixel count.

And the Wii U streams 2 different 720p video images to 2 GamePad (1 image per GamePad) controllers at once (60 fps each) when you use 2 GamePad in a single game.

But when you only use GamePad controller it’s one 1080p image at 60 fps.

It’s way more powerful then the Wii in everyway.

Plus the 3DS 128 MB FCRAM is 12 MB more powerful then the PS Vita 512 MB DRAM,and the 3DS TAM is also way more efficient then all the others (excluding the Wii U.

The 3DS has more shader cores & GFLOPs then all other video game systems (excluding the Wii U).

The 3DS displays 3 different 60 fps video images at once while downloading everything SpotPass & StreetPass in the background.

The PS Vita CPU can only handle 1 video image at 60 fps at a time and can’t download anything while gaming.

And Resident Evil: Revelations looks more better then any Vita game I own by a little, and they are making a new Resident Evil 3DS game with even much greater graphics.

Plus the 3DS game data has way shorter source codes for storage capacity for games.

And they both have up to 8 GB cartridges.

And they both have up to 32 GB cards for storage.

The only time Sony was more powerful then Nintendo is:

PS3 vs. Wii

PSP vs. DS

So far that it for Sony having more power in Specs.

Plus Nintendo used a Nintendo CPU so they could use a way more powerful CPU at a lesser cost still.

But Sony used a 3rd Party CPU (middle man) which cost more money for less power.

Vita’s a port system, It’s just trying to let people play the ps3 whenever tey want. According to sales, not much people have time to play the Ps3 on the go.
