Rumor: Nintendo Land to be a pack-in title, suggests $300 price point for Wii U

Nintendo Land is meant to be the Wii U-equivalent of Wii Sports in terms of introducing gamers to the various features of system. It wasn’t made clear if the game will be included with the system though or if we’d have to pick it up separately. If one of GoNintendo’s sources is to be believed though, the game will be a pack-in title.

It’s also mentioned that the system should cost “about $300″, which is what other rumors have suggested.

      I’m pretty sure Nintendo Land Will Use the Wii U controller in a fun and interesting way.
      But hey if it comes with the system that even better.

      I don’t understand wtf everyone is so exited about Nintendo Land for… All it is is another Wii sports. Its a mini game/demo showing off what the controller does/can do.

      @ABEzilla116 That’ why people are more excited for it IF it’s a pack-in game. Having fun and simple mini-games that shows how the controller is operated is always good.

      Man, I just hate that word fanboy It’s used with nintendo all the time. All because people are willing to pay for something even if it look or sounds stupid it shouldn’t make them a fanboy.

      Its because you act like fanboys. Honestly, a couple mini games should never warrant a $60 purchase. Literally, its a tech demo made for tha soul purpose of showing you how to play the WiiU. If it’s not packed in, I’m not getting it because I work for a living and my money means more to me than a couple small minigames.

      *sigh* Other people got families and know that they will get their moneys worth, and have fun when they buy Nintendo Land. I’m not saying that I’m the only one has a family, but I do see what your getting at. (not that Fanboy Crap I don’t get that shit at all) Paying $60 dollars for a game that’s a tech demo and only get 12 mini games does sound shitty. But by buying this game and giving them feed back could help them make other mini game based games I’ll be happy to help. I love you Sega Deamcast *sniff* *sniff*

    i think thats great, for the price of 300 dollars you get a control full of features, a powerful console and a collection of fun mini games, what else could you ask for?
    its a great price considering ps3 and 360 go from 200 too 250 depending what you get

      Would you rather pack a Wiimote, or have better GPU? You can buy a Wiimote later if you don’t still have enough of them, but you are married to the GPU for the next 5 years.

      I hope it does. I mean, I already have three, but only one is Plus, and I don’t have any black ones. If it came with Nintendo Land, a Wii Remote Plus, a GamePad, and a Pro Controller, I’d happily pay $350, but that seems like a lot to bundle.

      I think it will come with 1 Wii U Gamepad, 1 Wii Remote+,1 Nunchuk, and (hopefully) this game.

      It’s not coming with a Wii Remote or Nunchuck. The only controller that will be packed with the system is the Wii U GamePad.

      All I need is the gamepad to be a pack-in controller. Seriously, I love that thing. Sucks that the Pro controller is sold separately, maybe I can get it if I have extra money.

      I’m sure it will come with something other than the gamepad (probobly a wiimote+) so people can play multiplayer out of the box. They put sooo much emfisis on a-simetrical multiplayer that I would be surprised if they didn’t.

    I really would love to see this bundled either with or on the system. It would be nice to have for free , because I seriously doubt I’d spend the $60 to buy NintendoLand when Zombii-U , AC 3 , and Pikimin 3 are out too.

    The move to include this with the console is pretty vital to the success of the game and the success of the system in general.

    I mean, the example Wii U homepage that they kept showing off had a bunch of bubbles from this game. Not many people will purchase this game if it’s separate.

    Think of how much more awesome the online features and leaderboards would be if EVERYONE had a copy. It’s also another incentive to buy the system.

Yes it sucks that his wii was stolen, I had my entire game collection stolen from me (12 games = $600 to replace) but I got over it, and to me, it sounds like he has too. People need to learn to laugh.

    From what Reggie said I’d expect it to be free in North America and sold separately in Japan, he referred to how that happened with Wii Sports, so I’d expect the same thing to happen with Nintendoland, or he likely wouldn’t have mentioned that…

    Everything about this rumor sounds about right. Both would be smart moves. No one will buy NintendoLand separately and $350 wouldn’t look good coming from the Wii now being only $100.

    Since it demo’d the capabilities of the WiiU Gamepad it would certainly make sense. Although, i heard Nintendo will expand this game with a lot of stuff so it could be a bought game,unless, sometimes the added in stuff is for a price.

Then again nintendo does want nintendoland to become the next wii sports and the only way it’s going to do that is if it comes packaged in (I doubt this will sell very well otherwise).if it does come packaged in then $300 sounds like to little for a new console. I am thinking maybe $350

    I think that Nintendo Land will be bundled with the Wii U and I also predict that the Wii U will launch November 18th (3rd Sunday of November, just like the Wii 6 years ago) Anyone agree?

    Given the poor reception Nintendo Land has gotten from a lot of people, that price is probably at the breaking point of acceptability. Remember, it doesn’t have a harddrive. I think they’d see a lot more sales at 250 sans game, but of course they’d earn less per sale.

      It’s better be very huge infernal flash memory because i want to have space for all my downloadable Wii U games. I’d rather have downloaded versions of games so i don’t need to chance Discs everytime i want to play something else. Vita flopped in my eyes because there is no big enought memory cards to fit over 10 different big games.

      If Wii U has support to use external USB HDD’s for downloadable games like 3DS uses SD cards then there will be no problem.

    i dont know why but i would rather buy a wii u for $350 with nintendo land with it then a wii u for $300 and then having to buy nintendo land $50 i guess as great as nintendo land looks i can only buy a certain amount of games and its not on the top of my priority list with games like pikmin 3 or rayman origens
