Nintendo Land is meant to be the Wii U-equivalent of Wii Sports in terms of introducing gamers to the various features of system. It wasn’t made clear if the game will be included with the system though or if we’d have to pick it up separately. If one of GoNintendo’s sources is to be believed though, the game will be a pack-in title.

It’s also mentioned that the system should cost “about $300″, which is what other rumors have suggested.

  • SRArter

Nintendo Land is built in to the hardware like Face Raiders was for 3DS

    • SRArter

*I HOPE Nintendo Land is built in to the hardware like Face Raiders was for 3DS.

      Sorry, messed up

    • Awilliamj1998

Ya that would be awesome and the fact that you can download games it is likely

    • BR!4N

      That’s just what I assumed.

  • Lizzie1238

$300 with Nintendoland included sounds perfect

    • http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/16a07c1e06c4010a42f31cc4d1a0702d.png ABEzilla116

I can bet you barely anyone would have it unless it was free.

    • http://www.youtube.com/flyinglevel Nick Knack

I’d buy it for $30 -$25 if not free without tax. maybe $36 Max if not free.

    • baka

Your name should be Knit Picker.

    • Menchi X

I will gladly pay the full retail price for Nintendo Land. It has 12 mini games which should be
      NOTE:The * = the mini games they’ve showed
      *Zelda*
      Pikmin
*Metriod*(Think they showed it at last year E3)
      Mario
      *Luigi’s Mansion*
      *Animal Crossing*
      Yoshi
      Game & Watch
      *Donkey Kong*
      *Ninja*
      *F-Zero
      And maybe Balloon Fight
I’m pretty sure Nintendo Land Will Use the Wii U controller in a fun and interesting way.
But hey if it comes with the system that even better.

    • baka

If it comes with the system then it’ll be a LOT better. A LOT A LOT better. For Nintendo’s reputation even.

    • http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/16a07c1e06c4010a42f31cc4d1a0702d.png ABEzilla116

I don’t understand wtf everyone is so exited about Nintendo Land for… All it is is another Wii sports. Its a mini game/demo showing off what the controller does/can do.

    • RicardoSForever

@ABEzilla116 That’ why people are more excited for it IF it’s a pack-in game. Having fun and simple mini-games that shows how the controller is operated is always good.

    • Naner

@ABEzilla116: Yeah, but it’s a “Wii Sports” with Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin, F-Zero…

    • R2BDSi

@ABEzilla116 Me and u should be friends because we both aren’t closed minded Nintendo fanboys, that accept everything Nintendo has throwing at us. Nintendo Land is basically a bunch of mini games, and Friend codes are gay.

    • Donny

lol at the kid who thinks he isn’t a “closed minded Nintendo fanboy” then shouts “FRIEND CODES ARE GAYYYYY”.

So a open minded Nintendo fan is a homophobe who only cares about Nintendo games if some pretentious M-rated games gets on their systems?

    • Menchi X

      @R2B2DSi
“…we both aren’t closed minded Nintendo fanboys.”
Man, I just hate that word fanboy It’s used with nintendo all the time. All because people are willing to pay for something even if it look or sounds stupid it shouldn’t make them a fanboy.

After reading your comment over, and over I can’t tell if your saying that you like nintendo but won’t buy every game they make. (which is fine) or that people who likes Nintendo will buy their games all the time and can’t deal with something different (which is alright). I I’ll still post this comment so I won’t feel like I wasted your time

    • http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/16a07c1e06c4010a42f31cc4d1a0702d.png ABEzilla116

Its because you act like fanboys. Honestly, a couple mini games should never warrant a $60 purchase. Literally, its a tech demo made for tha soul purpose of showing you how to play the WiiU. If it’s not packed in, I’m not getting it because I work for a living and my money means more to me than a couple small minigames.

    • Menchi X

*sigh* Other people got families and know that they will get their moneys worth, and have fun when they buy Nintendo Land. I’m not saying that I’m the only one has a family, but I do see what your getting at. (not that Fanboy Crap I don’t get that shit at all) Paying $60 dollars for a game that’s a tech demo and only get 12 mini games does sound shitty. But by buying this game and giving them feed back could help them make other mini game based games I’ll be happy to help. I love you Sega Deamcast *sniff* *sniff*

  • the psvita is better

i think thats great, for the price of 300 dollars you get a control full of features, a powerful console and a collection of fun mini games, what else could you ask for?
its a great price considering ps3 and 360 go from 200 too 250 depending what you get

    • waluigi

Your username is confusing here. I know your not trolling and u like the vita more then the 3ds. But saying you like a handheld more then a console that’s not out yet. I know you don’t mean it but your name can be confusing.

    • the psvita is better

      haha
well actually this is my 3dsblog username, but you are right, i should use another name here because people might think i like the psvita more than the wii u even though the console is not out yet

    • Jdub

in some ways it is trolling, but yes i had noticed it too. He’s not rude about it though, so i don’t mind.

    • Kamkid

Don’t change your name, or people from n3ds blog wont know who’s commenting/trolling the 3ds.

  • Jairo

I hope so. As much fun as Nintendoland looks (pretty much a Nintendo MMO, heh heh) I really wouldn’t buy it unless I had the extra money… which is never…

  • Tak

I hope it doesn’t include Wiimote.

    • zeldahero11

      Yeah, I already have five.

    • Peskiest

Well, I hope it does so we without a Wiimote don’t have to buy one separate. You could always just hold onto extra ones in case one breaks.

    • Julian

i wouldn’t mind, although a new wiimote would be useless a wiimote with inbuilt motion plus would be handy.

    • Tak

Would you rather pack a Wiimote, or have better GPU? You can buy a Wiimote later if you don’t still have enough of them, but you are married to the GPU for the next 5 years.

    • Taylor

I hope it does. I mean, I already have three, but only one is Plus, and I don’t have any black ones. If it came with Nintendo Land, a Wii Remote Plus, a GamePad, and a Pro Controller, I’d happily pay $350, but that seems like a lot to bundle.

  • ADam

So that means 4 Wii Motes Plus, two Wii U Gamepads, the Wii U Pro Controller, and the console itself, including game NintendoLand will cost $300..IM SOLD!!

    • aguy

you are dumb…. it is NOT including any wii motes or a wii u pro controller, only the wii u gamepad and the console and the wires it comes with… and MAYBE this game, so stop making up stupid as fake rumors

    • Captain Falcon

Iwata confirmed during the Pre E3 Conference that the Pro controller is to be sold separately… bummer.

    • waluigi

I hope it comes with a pro controller

    • Classic Hyper Sonic The Hedgehog A.K.A Rc/AGES

I think it will come with 1 Wii U Gamepad, 1 Wii Remote+,1 Nunchuk, and (hopefully) this game.

    • Neoxon

It’s not coming with a Wii Remote or Nunchuck. The only controller that will be packed with the system is the Wii U GamePad.

    • Ness

All I need is the gamepad to be a pack-in controller. Seriously, I love that thing. Sucks that the Pro controller is sold separately, maybe I can get it if I have extra money.

    • Kamkid

I’m sure it will come with something other than the gamepad (probobly a wiimote+) so people can play multiplayer out of the box. They put sooo much emfisis on a-simetrical multiplayer that I would be surprised if they didn’t.

    • jdub

They put lots of emphasis on multiplayer in general for the wii, but only one wiimote was bundled

  • Awilliamj1998

So you will get the Wii U, the Wii U Game Pad, Nintendo Land, And maybe a Wii Controller, and a Wii U Pro Controller for $300 if that isn’t a good and fare price then what is

    • Captain Falcon

      Read my comment above ↑↑

  • MovieQuest

I really would love to see this bundled either with or on the system. It would be nice to have for free , because I seriously doubt I’d spend the $60 to buy NintendoLand when Zombii-U , AC 3 , and Pikimin 3 are out too.

  • Michael

The move to include this with the console is pretty vital to the success of the game and the success of the system in general.

I mean, the example Wii U homepage that they kept showing off had a bunch of bubbles from this game. Not many people will purchase this game if it’s separate.

Think of how much more awesome the online features and leaderboards would be if EVERYONE had a copy. It’s also another incentive to buy the system.

  • jdub

How about an optional bundle that includes a wiimote for non wii owners? I don’t need a 5th wiimote.

    • jdub

Also, I’ve been expecting 300 dollars for a while, and I totaly called the nintendoland bundle

    • adam

there are probably almost no non-wii owners who will get the Wii U

    • http://www.youtube.com/flyinglevel Nick Knack

Thats a nice idea, but I don’t have white or pink Wii remote Plus yet, so Getting a white Wii U will help complete my Wii Remote Plus collection.

    • cancelln

I’m pretty sure there are almost no non-Wii owners period

    • Nintyboy245

yeah well i dont. i recently got robbed and i dont have a wii or wiimote. but i think nintendo will be nice enough to include it in the package (probably not) or make another bundle.

    • cancelln

Sorry to hear that Nintyboy, at least you still have whatever it is your using to comment on the site

    • Jdub

the correct term would be burglarized, unless of course you were holding it when it was taken. :) sorry, i like being technical. cancelln, you comment made me laugh, it’s true, i havn’t walked into a house recently that didn’t have a wii plugged into the tv.

    • Kamkid

Tecnically, your kinda bieng a dush to a guy who got ROBBED. Now go play your brainage grammar edition.

    • jdub

…… you spelled douche wrong :) chilax bro , no need to jump on the hatin’ train

    • http://wiiublog.com Jared

Jdub your messed up in the head man the dude just got most of his stuff jacked i dare u to say that to his face. Its not a facetious matter your point of laughing is fallacious.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lame ass

    • jdub

*sigh* I would have said that too his face actually, and I’m not the one being rude. I’ve so far been called a douch, an ass, and messed up in the head and I haven’t retaliated. Yes it sucks that his wii was stolen, I had my entire game collection stolen from me (12 games = $600 to replace) but I got over it, and to me, it sounds like he has too. People need to learn to laugh.

  • ZimmerRemmiz

From what Reggie said I’d expect it to be free in North America and sold separately in Japan, he referred to how that happened with Wii Sports, so I’d expect the same thing to happen with Nintendoland, or he likely wouldn’t have mentioned that…

  • Roy Lagendijk

Honestly, being boxed in with the system is the only way it’d ever get in my house.. (Nintendo Land I mean of course)

  • Classic Hyper Sonic The Hedgehog A.K.A Rc/AGES

$300 makes the most sense. It is VERY likely the system will sell at that price point.

  • LittleMofreaky

Everything about this rumor sounds about right. Both would be smart moves. No one will buy NintendoLand separately and $350 wouldn’t look good coming from the Wii now being only $100.

    • Kamkid

F*** I gotta sell my wii now

    • Julian

Yeah i wouldn’t have bought Wii sports if it came separately, although it was a very fun game to have… unlike wii-play.

  • Jared

Nintendo would be dumb not to do this even though i would want wii sports U or something this will do (for a couple weeks) thanks nintendo!!

  • BlueHawk007

Since it demo’d the capabilities of the WiiU Gamepad it would certainly make sense. Although, i heard Nintendo will expand this game with a lot of stuff so it could be a bought game, unless, sometimes the added in stuff is for a price.

  • Phantom-X

Well, this is how I see NintendoLand:
    - If sold with the system, a lot of time playing it
    - If sold separately, not even going to look at it

    • Jared

      lol samething i was thinkin.

    • KING Z Is Ready For The Wii U

Lol Ikr, I Have Over 50 Hours On Wii Sports!

  • http://www.fanfiction.net/~gamemaniac GameManiac

I am going to Nintendo Land!

Does anybody see what I did there?

  • Jeff

Hard to believe that it will come with the console when this exists: http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Land-Wii-U/dp/B002I0K3M0/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339471971&sr=8-1-spell

    • Kevin Jo

Look at the date. They just do that because it’s not confirmed how much Wii U games will be, and no release date yet. They just over estimate both of them.

    • zeldahero11

Plus if a wii u games cost $100, NO one would buy it, I hope 50, but because of PS3 and 360 games, 60 is most likely.

    • Jdub

ugh, another person fooled by price-holders.

    • Jeff

You guys when did I mention anything about the price? Trust me I know about the whole price thing. I was just showing that amazon listed Nintendo Land as a standalone game. That was my only point.

    • Julian

lol 100 for nintendo land but only 60 for zombiU

  • Kevin Jo

When they showed Nintendo Land, I figured it would be built in. If not, I would be surprised if it sold twenty copies lol.

But seriously, $300 with NintendoLand sounds good to me.

  • zeldahero11

Nintendo Land is the perfect game to come with the wii u. otherwise it wouldn’t sell too well.

  • baka

This better be true Nintendo. I’m going to be disappointed in Nintendo if this turns out false.

  • Peskiest

To me, this just looks like an educated guess.

  • Kamkid
    • KING Z Is Ready For The Wii U

Hopefully The Wii U Friend Codes Are Like The 3DS Friend Codes

  • Csaw

This seems to good to be true. Then again nintendo does want nintendoland to become the next wii sports and the only way it’s going to do that is if it comes packaged in (I doubt this will sell very well otherwise).if it does come packaged in then $300 sounds like to little for a new console. I am thinking maybe $350

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/TeenChampion?feature=mhee TeenChampion

    Im happy about this

  • Komali100

I think that Nintendo Land will be bundled with the Wii U and I also predict that the Wii U will launch November 18th (3rd Sunday of November, just like the Wii 6 years ago) Anyone agree?

I just need to save up some money now! :D

  • anon

Given the poor reception Nintendo Land has gotten from a lot of people, that price is probably at the breaking point of acceptability. Remember, it doesn’t have a harddrive. I think they’d see a lot more sales at 250 sans game, but of course they’d earn less per sale.

    • baka

Who gives a crap about a hard drive? Nintendo consoles aren’t for media playback. It has some internal flash memory, anyways.

    • CBNS

It’s better be very huge infernal flash memory because i want to have space for all my downloadable Wii U games. I’d rather have downloaded versions of games so i don’t need to chance Discs everytime i want to play something else. Vita flopped in my eyes because there is no big enought memory cards to fit over 10 different big games.

For example this is the list of first Vita games and there will be a lot bigger filesized games coming later:
      http://www.ign.com/wikis/ps-vita/Vita_Games_Sizes

If Wii U has support to use external USB HDD’s for downloadable games like 3DS uses SD cards then there will be no problem.

    • DonnyKD

“Given the poor reception Nintendo Land has gotten from a lot of people”

WHAT poor reception? What, from the “hardcore” gamers?

  • chuckycheese

i dont know why but i would rather buy a wii u for $350 with nintendo land with it then a wii u for $300 and then having to buy nintendo land $50 i guess as great as nintendo land looks i can only buy a certain amount of games and its not on the top of my priority list with games like pikmin 3 or rayman origens

  • http://youtube.com/the8guys Dylan

haha this is exactly what I thought :D

  • Vii

    Getting ready for Christmas :D

  • Wade Havick

    Sold

  • J. Severe

    Sounds great!

  • Heefe

Reggie said that people would be suprised by the “low” price… 300$ wouldnt be a suprise for me…. 249$ would be … and since $ equals € all the time when a new console is launching the price will be 300€ as well which is too expensive for me.

  • Totoro

Oh man, that’s exactly what I wanted to see.. IF this is true. If so then a 300 dollar price tag is bearable.
