Pikmin 3 is coming to the Wii U

Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that Pikmin 3 is coming to the Wii U.


According to Nintendo World Report it’s “likely” that it will be a launch title, or at least available during the launch window.  No matter what though, before the end of 2012 we’ll be able to play Pikmin in full high definition. How glorious.

    It may not be on the 3DS, but as soon as I saw Pikmin carrying all my game data on the system transfer, I took that as a sign as either a 3DS or Wii U Pikmin 3.

    I noticed that too. I was really hoping that it was a sign of Pikmin coming soon. I even watched for a while just to see if they may have slipped in a new coloured Pikmin or something :) No luck :(

    She was actually wrong about 4 or 5 things that she said “would happen”. Rockstar made no appearance and if she had a brain she would have known that they wouldn’t be making any E3 appearance as they said they wouldn’t be. She said that they would have a “big FPS” shown, but there wasn’t (Battlefield 3 doesn’t count, it’s coming out almost a year before the new console). Soul Calibur was not announced as a “launch title”, let alone even being on the console (though it probably will be announced eventually). And she said there would be “over 20 playable games at E3″….there were 8, and they were all demos, none of them were games. The console was playable, but there were no actual games that are coming out for the console. 3rd Party announced games don’t count because they weren’t actually playable ON the Wii U. So in short, she just made educated guesses that everyone else was making too. Miyamoto was already on record announcing Pikmin 3 was coming and that the “new HD console would be perfect for Pikmin 3″…you don’t have to be a genius to predict that Pikmin 3 was going to be announced.

    All Nintendo games look “really dumb” when you put it that way. A short Italian plumber eating mushrooms and saving princesses, or a pink blob that eats stuff and gets powers.

    Pikmin is a very unique RTS. I’m sorry it doesn’t have enough guns and explosions for you. Also, tell your parents that I’m sorry you were born with ADD.

    Yes it’s finally coming. now all I’m worried about is how to get the money for a wii u and pikmin 3.
