Nintendo of Europe launches the official web page for the Wii U

With each passing day, we move closer to the launch of the Wii U. The most recent milestone is the “unveiling” of the official web page for the Wii U from Nintendo of Europe. The page doesn’t have any bombshells, but it does once again confirm the console to be coming in 2012.

      Actually, they’re existing gen of handheld :)

      Technically they are in the next gen of handhelds, the same gen (Gen 8) as Wii U and the other consoles. DS, PSP, Wii, 360, and PS3 are last gen (Gen 7).

      I would say that handhelds have their own cycle that’s not really linked to homeconsole cycle. It would be weird to say that we’ve already been in gen 8 for one and a half years.

      Your right. The Handheld cycle goes for Six years, whereas Five Years for the console cycle.

      3ds & vita are 8th gen handheld consoles.
