Nintendo has sold 3,000,000 units of the Wii U

Nintendo has confirmed that the Wii U has sold a little over 3,000,000 units around the world since the console launched on the 18th of November in North America. Nintendo Land was the best-selling game, but both it and New Super Mario Bros. U managed to sell over 2,000,000 copies each. That seems like a pretty solid ratio to me.

    It’s a great start for the Big N. Just wait until more Wii U games to launch starting next month.

    I really hope the Wii U succeeds and becomes popular. The Black Ops 2 online community is so tiny! It rarely goes above 4,000 people online. It’s still my favorite game to play online and I don’t want to play it on any other console.

      it clearly says “SOLD”, which means these are numbers that tells you consumers paid for them. Nintendo has nothing to hide when it comes to sales.

      Im just confirming because i just read an article that said nintendo had shipped 3 million units but not SOLD 3 million units.
