Nintendo Direct broadcast confirmed for Europe on the 13th of September

In addition to a media briefing in New York City on the 13th of September, there will also be a Nintendo Direct broadcast for folks in Europe. The event will focus on the Wii U, and we can expect a release date, price, and lots of other details announced for the platform. Keep following this blog for more details when they arrive.

Update: The official splash page for the event has been added to Nintendo’s website. The event itself will be streamed at 3pm, based on UK time.

    If people want to avoid
    disappointment I’d advise them not to get too hyped after the E3
    failure. If Nintendo get it right this time, that’s a better time to
    get hyped.

    So at September 13th, there will be
    - Nintendo Direct Wii U Preview at 3 P.M. UK Time for Europe
    - Nintendo Wii U Presentation at New York (when it will be?)

      its done on purpose so the world gets a unanimous announcement, so other regions wont get confused or “leak” to other regions

    I don’t think we’ll be getting a price, UK retailers choose their own price to sell the systems at but hopefully we’ll be getting a date then in the next few weeks/months it’ll be time to look around for the best deal.
