Transformers Prime 2

There’s more, Wii U-specific screenshots from Transformers Prime after the break.

  • Kaizar

This game looks like it will look amazing in 3D…….so I’m getting the 3DS Version, unless the Wii U version is 3D Capable.

Same with Sonic Racing Transformed…….but the 3DS version is the Bonus edition, so I might have no choice but to get the 3DS version of Sonic Racing 2.

    THIRD POWER!

    • Schultz38

      The Wii U doesn’t support 3D..

    • Captain Falcon
    • Kaizar

Yeah, the Wii U’s pre-install Firmware is 3D Capable since the 2K11 prototype at E3 2011.

The Wii U disc do speeds of up to 22.5 MB a second, which means that not only will it play at 60 fps, but 60 fps per video image with 2 being rendered simultaneously at the same exact time, like the 3DS & GameCube.

      The PS3 & 360 require a Wireless Firmware Update…….and it’s 25 GB game disc speed can only do 3D in 15 to 24 fps.

Have any of you guys played Super Street Fighter 4 3D with Firmware Update: 4.4.0-10U?……it’s 60 fps with the 3D ON, Non-Stop……I know from experience.

      SHABLAGOO!

If what you said true then damn I’ve gotta try it now. I just hope it does the same for KH DDD because whenever I’m in the Prankster’s Paradise world the frame rate DROPS

    • Kaizar

I’m guessing the underwater part, LOL.

The 4th Stage (Levels 61 to 80) in “Cubic Ninja” would do the same thing with the 3D ON. (Circle Pad mode On)……..but now it only drops a little for a lesser amount of time, and you have to pay attention.

And Cave Story 3D becoming underwater before boss battle drops for 1 whole second, but goes back up to 60 fps with the older firmware.

Mario Kart 7 seems fine, but it was developed around Firmware 2.2.0-4U, and the Dev Kit that 3rd Parties have, don’t seem to give them access to such for exchange of needing a higher firmware, just to play: i.e. Mario Kart 7 & Super Mario 3D Land (which comes with the require firmware).

      MINT BERRY CRUNCH!

    • http://www.facebook.com/tyrell.jones.9 Tyrell Jones

lol not the underwater part. The first area that you start in with Sora, the amusement part. It gets really choppy when there’s at least a group of 4-6 enemies in the field at once

    • Samuel R

I see what you did there…

    • http://www.facebook.com/tyrell.jones.9 Tyrell Jones

so this makes Wii U a fusion of 3DS and Wii

    • Kaizar

No, the Wii U was made around the Blue Light indicator on the WiiMote, which evolved into the Wii U GamePad in 2008.

The Wii U is more like a Alien Ware Computer, but Home Console Style, LOL.

Plus the Wii U has a Radeon High-Defintion GPGPU, for it’s GPU………which makes its games a lot more better, when developed for its system.

And it does True Asymetrical Gaming & has a Geomagnitic Sensor & NFC (which Samsung Galaxy 3, ripped-off) & clickable analogs & 5 GHz Wireless (the 3DS & PS3 & 360 only have 2.4 GHz Wireless).

And there are some more cool stuff about it as well.

The Wii U is just the Natural evolution of Hardcore gaming……..the Wii was the Natural evolution of Casual gaming.

The Wii U seems to have answer the New gamers fan base demands for a more newer powerfuler HD Console, but Nintendo never fucosed on that, and just happened to do so.

The Wii U will be more about Crytek & Unreal & so fort games…….so mostly for Western developers by chance.

The 3DS is more about everything else, like 3D gaming & 3D Augmented Reality……..so mostly Japanese games by chance.

They will natural have 2 completely different markets, with the 3DS being the most attractive to Japanese Developers & Publishers and the Wii U being most attractive to Graphic Whores like Western Developers & Publishers, who want their games to look like stuff we see in person.

      WE THE BEST! FOREVER!

    • http://www.facebook.com/tyrell.jones.9 Tyrell Jones

Lol i was referencing the fact that it has handheld qualities due to the gamepad and that it starts off supporting 3D

    • Kaizar

Well, the bottom screen isn’t attach, so the Wii U is more limitless.

      WE THE BEST!

    • http://www.facebook.com/tyrell.jones.9 Tyrell Jones

Yesh I know that lol. You know what I was referencing, and it wasn’t about the screens being attached or not

    • Kaizar

Yeah, i know now, with what you said about duo screen & 3D, but both Handhleds & Home Consoles are bound to have that much similarities, like PSP & PS2….only one of these has one analog, but they both have analog control with near same graphics and so fort.

But yeah, I know exactly what you mean physically, but they will give us 2 completely different experiences, excluding Sonic Racing 2 & Lego City Undercover & Scibblenauts Unlimited.

Are you gonna get a VIZIO Smart 3D HD TV (1080p) for $348 or less or some other cheap 3D HD TV? I know I am.

I still only have a Standard Definition TV, LOL.

      SHABLAGOO!

    • http://www.facebook.com/tyrell.jones.9 Tyrell Jones

Lol I wish I had the munny to get an HD Tv, so I’m in the same boat as you dude (I feel a meme coming on). Gettin a job here in my state is almost like an achievement here lol

    • Kaizar

I’m waiting til Black Friday, to see if I can get a deal, seeing that $348 is the regular price at WalMart.

I hoping I can get a Smart 3D Blu-Ray player, which is $120 at regular price during Black Friday too, for a cheaper deal.

I won’t be getting the Wii U til Q1 2K13, and I will get the premium bundle, because I like the Black one more, and also the extra stuff & Nintendo Land, & 32 GB internal memory.

Funny, the Wii looks more better White, but the Wii U looks more better Black.

      SHABLAGOO!

    • http://www.facebook.com/tyrell.jones.9 Tyrell Jones

Lol the all caps words you put at the end of your replies is amusing.
And i agree, the wii looks better in white, and the U looks better in black..

    • Schultz38

      @CaptainFalcon247:disqus Ohhhh. I didn’t know that! Thanks!

    • il slap a punk fool
