Call of Duty Black Ops 2 4

There’s a new selection of screenshots from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 after the break. They include a glimpse at the zombies within the game, along with a look at the multiplayer mode.

  • A guy who likes all consoles

I will buy this game DAY 1 with my black wii U

  • Megajacob

why do people consider this “hardcore”

    • Marty

      because there casuals.

    • I AM ERROR

I know that feel, The Original Mario Bros was WAYmore hardcore than this and people consider it a lil kids game, I see it more like a torment, to play a game you got no hopes of beating despite it is possible.

    • Megajacob

i mean kids these days think if its not 1st person or shooting its not hardcore, sure i’ll play it but back then hardcore meant you devoted your life to games

    • Alex_Atkin_UK

I guess what people mean by hardcore are the games that people play obsessively for many hours, which mostly boils down to FPS.

Or perhaps its the fact that people who play online FPS obsessively tend to pretty much ONLY play online FPS games and nothing else.

I agree, that isn’t really hardcore, its narrow minded and obsessive compulsive. Somehow though, the name has stuck.

It is amusing when you think about it as what is World of Warcraft then?

I’m perfectly happy to consider myself a casual gamer, although even then I do not fit into the normal term as I like platformers, racing and FPS (though not online). I am just as likely to play LEGO Harry Potter as Singtar, Rock Band. In fact the only thing I generally avoid are sports games, although I like some Virtua Tennis and Wii Sports Resort.

    • TheFarmboy

Seems to be ironic what’s considered “hardcore” happen to have a large fanbase of kids before 12 years old and frat-boys.

    • Megajacob

      thats true

    • http://twitter.com/Revolution5268 Revolution

yeah this game is not hardcore its casual, why its easy to understand to play this, why do you think kids play this game. battlefield is a hardcore fps game

Isn’t it the person that should be considered hardcore and not the game?

    • Megajacob

that’s what i’m trying to say

    • Mrmime

Yes! you are right! It’s not the game, it the way the person plays the game.
      >A kid can play pokemon casually, while I focus on team strategy, EV training, etc(hardcore)..
      > Same with Call of Duty, I only play it with my friends for fun, but for some people it is serious competition and spend hundreds of hours improving skills.

  • NintendoR0CK3T

    GABE CARRIER PASS IT ON!!

Please, give us DLC for the Wii U. We missed out last time. ANd, MORE THAN ONE ZOMBIE MAP! I was dissapointed in that. Better than nothing…

    • Alex_Atkin_UK

I’m pretty sure it will get DLC, why else offer different storage sizes and the ability to add space via external HDDs?

    • anonymous

Why do you want DLC for COD? It’s bullshit, you basically pay money for map packs which aren’t even worth it tbh.

    • http://www.facebook.com/martin.kearney.104 Martin Kearney

I thought COD was garbage as well, but my friends latched me on to it. Honestly I don’t like it, but I like the zombies. Thats all I want, and new guns.

    • anonymous

I’m not saying COD is grabage, I’m saying that the DLC is garbage.

    • http://www.facebook.com/martin.kearney.104 Martin Kearney

i thought it was decent. Personal opinion.

    • anonymous

15 bucks for a couple of maps is decent? I could buy a whole new game for that amount of money.

    • http://www.facebook.com/martin.kearney.104 Martin Kearney

A short game is $15 bucks (Like Little Inferno). a full length game id about $50-$60 at best. No higher than that. Besides, $15 may look like a lot to you, but thats ok.

    • anonymous

Orcs Must Die costs 15 bucks, so do a lot of other great games. 15$ doesn’t “look” like a lot to me. It is a lot for map pack in general, anyone will tell you that.

  • UrM0m

    1st PU$$¥ B!T€H3$!!!!

  • DrunkEnShadow

i used to play cod with my friends in a net cafe and we were playing a stage with zombies waves it was a lot of fun…these screenshots are something similar to what i ve played?

  • Luciano Fran

This is going to be the first call of duty game I buy/own never bought CoD before going to get this on the Wii U :)

  • Ice Climbers

Doesn’t interest me too much, but I know I will end up buying this game at some point anyway lol.

  • Exclusive Content

Graphics haven’t changed one bit :P
yep this is call of duty

  • Hybrilynx

if picture 3 isnt a weapon you can just equip like any other weapon in multiplayer, then this game will still suck. but anyway im still getting it and zombies!!! and 2 players!!! using the gamepad!! split screens has change to, split, tv screens…. or something. yeah! getting it on day 1.

  • uh20

are these images wiiu specific, i would assume so, not like theres any good graphics to begin with.
i vote black ops works a little less as good on wiiu and ps3 because the company is too complex to use simple better opengl properly

While I disagree with your opinion on the Wii U’s graphics, I can understand certain games looking better on 360, due to the advantages of DirectX over OpenGL.

  • http://www.facebook.com/tyrell.jones.9 Tyrell Jones

Ive played a black ops once, it was fun in terms of the zombie mode. So i might get this game.

  • Sonic20012

I’m not a “hardcore gamer, but I’m not a casual one either. If it were up to me, I’d play CoD and zombies games and whatever, but my parents are really strict and I’m sorta lucky that they let me play games anyway. But I play mostly Mario, racing games (mostly NFS, because NFS is awsum!), sports (MLB the Show and Madden), and Sonic. So I’m not a casual gamer, because I play whenever I’m not eating, sleeping, or doing homework. :)
