Monster Hunter Tri G HD bundle for the Wii U is coming to Japan

Nintendo and Capcom have teamed up to release a Monster Hunter Tri G HD bundle for the Wii U in Japan. It’s basically the “Premium” bundle, but with Monster Hunter Tri G HD (known as “Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate” in our neck of the woods) packed-in. It will cost ¥38,850 when it’s released on December 8th in Japan.

      That’s what we get for getting the Wii U first… USA = November 18th Europe = November 30th Japan = December 8th. :(

      It’s hardly “official”, you have to remember that this MH game is nothing more than an HD version of a game they’ve already been playing for 1.5 years at the time this will come out.
      I wonder if the Japanese fans are really waiting for another Tri game…

      I like how people are downvoting me even though I’m right.
      The Wii version of MH3 didn’t sell exceptionally well, even in Japan, so having this “bundle” means absolutely nothing.
      On top of that, MH3 came out years after the release of the Wii system itself and tons of people owned a Wii, this will not be the case with the Wii U and MH3U (MH3U coming out only 6 months ish after the system), so saying it’s “official it will sell a lot” is ignorant.

    since mh4 will be exclusive on the 3ds I should get mh3 for the Wii U to play online too.I really wanted mh on the 3ds tho but I’m not buying both versions.I hope they don’t make mh4 for the Wii U by any chance so I ll gave different games on different consoles

    I wish we would get this… But no… Sometimes I feel like Japan still holds a grudge for what happened with Hiroshima and Nagasaki… And that really sucks… Cuz that was the USAians! And it was… Necessary I guess… But STILL!!

      i think japan gets everything first becuz it really takes alot to impress anyone in north america. so if it impresses people in japan, they give it a shot here.

    I seem to have a bit of confusion
    Monster Hunter Tri G has already been released in Japan
    and this is the HD version for Wii U
    So does that mean there going to release ANOTHER MH3G or will this one just be updated to work with the Wii U version?
    because as far as its concern with the western world, Monster Hunter Ultimate will be released for both wii U and 3ds,and they will have a save file sharing system

      Yes but note that this bundle costs ¥7,350 more than their other premium bundle which includes no game.

      Standard=¥26,250
      Premium=¥31,500
      Monster Hunter=¥38,850
