Michael Pachter’s response to the Wii U

Michael Pachter

Michael Pachter, who has been critical of Nintendo on a regular basis, was surprised with their recent media briefing about the Wii U, sharing on Twitter that, “The Wii U software lineup was better than I expected, third party support pretty solid, and Nintendo titles high quality”. Let’s hope he’s not wrong.

    Until the most recent trailer of New Super Mario Bros U, I was just thinking it would be another “New” game, like the Wii version with one extra player. I’m actually excited for this game the most now! New music, story (lol), boss fights, nostalgia, level designs, enemies, etc! :D

    I agree. The content is much more than I expected. Monster Hunter is especially cool…as long as it has online.

    that means he’s excited about the wii u, he just doesnt want to show it. I won’t be surprised if anyone sees patcher buying the wii u on the first day.

    Well reading an earlier interview he did say he does this for fun and bases his info off facts. I don’t hate the guy, but I’m sure if he bought a Wii U he wouldn’t come out the house for a whole 2 months and won’t have anymore mood swings.
