Game Informer Lost Planet

According to an extract from the next issue of Game Informer, Lost Planet 3 is coming to the Wii U. There’s speculation this could be a screw-up though, so don’t get your hopes up until Capcom confirms it to be real (or not real, I suppose).

It seems likely, with the spin off game coming to 3ds, and capcom support still being thin on wiiu, this (along with RE6) would be great titles to have on the platform.

    • Fun_Fan

Keep that RE6 crap out of the WiiU. That game is no longer relevant and given how much it sucks, the development money would be better served elsewhere.

Your opinion man. Resident Evil 6 may have several flaws, but it is in no way a bad game. (T ^ T)

Did not Capcom say, they were working on games for the Wii U? Maybe this is one of them.

  • Greenrayge

That’s got to be a screw up. They have done this several times in the past if I recall.

  • Tails the Foxhound

I’ve only played the first one and I enjoyed it but it was kinda boring (with some of the weirdest controls I’ve ever used). I’d be up to trying the series out again.

An off topic and probably a bit stupid question, it seems I missed something:

I could find in several places new controllers named “Wii U Plus controller”. They are regular Wiimote Plus controllers, right? I had a doubt, because they are more expansive and not available at the moment…

If Wii U is compatible with Wii accessories, what are these things? New packaging for Wii controllers?

Wii U Plus controller? ig it must be the revised version of the Wiimote Plus. Yeah the U is compatible with Wii accessories just not vice versa. This edition has the sync button on the outside.

    • Zack

Yeah, same remote, but labeled so people know it works with the Wii U. Btw I just bought a Wii Remote Plus controller from Gamestop awhile back… it has the new external sync button like you’re talking about.

Hm. Isn’t that one the… family edition version? Y’now like when Ninten released the Nintendo Wii Family Edition

    • Zack

I don’t know, I bought a used Wii, then I bought a new Wii Remote Plus controller from Gamestop and it has the external sync button. It’s a recessed button so it can’t be pressed easily, and the piece of plastic on the wrist strap has a tab to push the button with.

    • Miketendo

They are just a WiiU branded Wii Remote Plus

Ok thanks. But this is misleading :(

      Sure no prob

That’d be great. I’d love to have the ability to better manage my weapons, grenades, and have a bigger map all in the palm of my hands… woulda been nice especially during that damn desert ghost town level.

  • brycyn

I have my game informer in front of me and it seems they removed the platform wii u. :D

  • blackyicy

      ikr

  • Big E

This is a mistake on the online version as the physical magazine does not have “Wii U” listed.
