The above image is floating around the internet. It doesn’t look like much, but it’s apparently from the dev kit of the Wii U. Whether that’s true or not will probably be met with a casual shrug either way, because there’s not much to the image. But its dullness is a good suggestion that it’s probably real, so that’s something.

It’s more than meets the eye. :P

    No, its not.

    • anonymous

This just isn’t the Dev kit.

    • uh20

probably not the dev kit, but it does seem like something

since it says spot pass, I want to think this is for the 3DS.

Yet still there is no streetpass

      How would it have streetpass?
Are you gonna carry the Wii U pad everywhere with you?

    • Co-Wink-Key dink inc

No, im talking to King Boo

    • BasementofNerds

Spot pass is rumored to be coming to Wii U

    • King Boo

I just thought it was kind of weird to use the spot pass name when the system isn’t passing between wifi spots.

Well this screenshot is actually from Ubisofts Gamescom presence – theres another screenshot where you can read the Rayman Legends Logo above – if you watch closely , you can see a small part of this logo …
So I think this is at least from the Wii U , and its part of the Dev Kit…

  • Seb

    It could be true;
“Formating external storage”. The Wii U has support for external hard drives, right?
“Install from SD card”. Obvious SD port… But this line supports the theory too :P

  • thunn94

Looks like a screen from War games. Uh oh

  • Rob

David, did you notice that one of the settings say “Spotpass Settings”?

    • Hybrilynx

i thought everyone already knew about the wii u and spotpass. like half a year ago or more. i think it also involved software updates to the 3ds too.

  • Hybrilynx

    whats a dev kit.
