IGN reviews Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge (and they don’t hate it)

The original version of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge was not well-received. With a series of improvements made for the Wii U version though, IGN has scored it 7.6/10, and said that the game’s “unflinching action and unabashed violence is a great sign for the Wii U as a core gamer’s platform”.     Read it and I think they liked it better than they scored, sure it’s as hard as hell but this game looks like a lot of fun compared to the other versions. I’m getting it day one.

    When I was first saw the review earlier in the day, I was like damn that was a huge improvement for the Wii U version! Just imagine if they had more time to work on the game!!

      To be quite honest, I truly like Digital Trends’ review of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and should highly recommend to purchase that title along with the Wii U at launch.

      Both IGN and GamesRadar pretty much suck in their reviews of games. So, no, I’m going to wait for Nintendo Power to review this one.

      One of those reviews was by someone who knew squat about the franchise (calling headstomp and GT throw useless moves? Unbelievable!) and the other reeked of a guy who was still salty about Beta Gaiden 3 and took it out on this version…
      I wouldn’t trust those reviews if I were you.

    From 3.0 for the 360 version & PS3 Version, to a 7.6 for the Wii U version.

    i wouldnt care about ratings unless its from real people and i can read their comments about the game. thats the only real ratings. everything else is pointless.

      By users (when I read during the first 30 days) = 9.2

      That’s every review. It’s always real people(whether you accept people with jobs to do this as real people or not.) and they always give their comments on the game. Usually their word is more honest and over all insightful than (for example)those gamestop user rreviews. Believe it or not they’re also waaaayyyyy less biased.

      The people who really play games for fun and not the ones that do it for a living and have become bitter because of it (GameInformer), are the ones I really trust to give a good review of the game, I go to GameStop user reviews or Amazon reviews or independent game reviewers on YouTube.
      Less biased and give non-skewed reviews.
