First advertising material for the Wii U-related promotion through Burger King

Wii U Burger King

Nintendo is teaming up with Burger King to include Wii U-related toys with various meals. As you can see above, the first promotional material in regards to this has been shared online. The employee who shared the photo thinks the toys will be available next month.

    I remember when i was a kid i bought kids meal at burger king and it came with a gamecube related toy.

    Yah, this will do wonders for the Wii U’s perception among hardcore gamers.

    Honestly if this is representative of the general direction of Wii U marketing, Nintendo may be gutting itself again. Whoring itself out to capture a little bit of the youth market at the expense of the image and reputation of the new machine. Time will tell.

      Dude, Nintendo has always done kids meal stuff. Do you know how many pokemon toys have been sold kids meals? And like the guy above said, I’m pretty sure they sold Gamecube related toys once as well. It’s called advertising.

    If I recall correctly, someone who worked at burger king told Michael Pachter like last month that they were gonna get these toys around October.

    Honestly, i don’t know what to think about this. It is awesome for sure, i go out for lunch almost everyday anyways, but i’m just not sure about getting the whole kids meal thing.
