ESRB rating for ZombiU

ZombiU has been rated M, and was provided with this description:

In this survival horror game, players assume the role of London inhabitants in the wake of a zombie invasion. From a first-person perspective, players scavenge the city and use realistic firearms, explosives, and melee attacks to kill waves of zombies; battles are highlighted by loud shrieks, impact sounds, and large splashes of blood. Players can also perform finishing moves to dispatch downed zombies: stomping on/bashing in their heads in with a cricket bat. Attacks often result in decapitated/dismembered bodies, and dead enemies continue to incur damage when shot. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” can be heard in the dialogue.

And maybe I’m just immature, but they make it sound like all kinds of awesome.

    i really like the screenshoot, but i have some doubs on zombie u and black ops 2, i think they`re lying about them on the graphics part

    Honestly my favorite thing besides the zombies in this game is the fact that weapons have all been adapted for the setting. I mean how many microsoft/sony players can say the bashed a zombie’s head in with a cricket bat?

      Every single one of us who played Dead Island I would think. Or even Dead Rising for that matter.

    Because this Zombie invasion takes place in England…..I assume that many people would not survive because the English goverment does not allow anyone to own weaponry to the extent that America allows it.
    Man, Zombi U is going to be hard with a huge absence or guns. This would be way easier in the US, thank the Lord I live in Texas.

      But seeing as Zombies are fictional the issue is irrelevant.

      In reality, being able to kill someone from far away means more gut reactions, rather than giving your brain time to kick in. Which is why I prefer living in a country with tight gun control.

      If someone is going to kill me, I would rather see them coming first so I at least have a fighting chance of running away.

      There are many ways people can kill you without you ever seeing them coming.
      Knife, crossbow, bow and arrows or even just an outlawed illegal gun, which tight gun control countries seem to only keep out of the hands of law abiding people and keep them in the hands of outlaws.

      By the way, Dead Island didn’t rely on guns nor did Dead Rising, I think the only game that relys on guns against zombies is……Call of Duty: Black Ops.

    That was pretty easy to see coming. After all it is the type of game that would make Mr. Miyamoto crap his pants. I cant wait to play it! Too bad USA doesnt get it in a bundle like the UK.
