Nintendo eShop Logo

Lauri Hyvärine of Frozenbyte has shared in an interview that “everything we have seen and heard about the Wii U eShop sounds very promising”. How much have they seen though? Hopefully this is not just (almost) pure-optimism, but an expectation based on concrete evidence. But as for what Hyvärine wants the eShop:

Our hopes as developers are quite simple: inexpensive updating and easy certification process. That’s really it. If the Wii U eShop can deliver either one of these, or even both, then we will be very happy!

Happy developers, happy gamers. Fingers cross Nintendo can give them what they want.

Are there unified accounts like if you have money on 3ds eShop It would work on WiiU aswell? Hope so.

That’s the way it works for PSN (anyone know if it turned into Sony Entertainment Network yet?), so with any luck Nintendo will use this too.

its just an eshop. all you do is want something, then buy it. i dont see how that can change.

Yeah, but there are videos to watch, demos, etc.

I pray that the rumors of gamecube games coming to eshop’s virtual console are true.
