Wii U Pro Controller

EDGE has spent some hands-on time with both the Wii U’s GamePad and Pro Controller, and walked away with quite a lot of positive things to say, sharing that:

The Pro Controller is light and ergonomic enough to occupy the function of a standard twin-stick controller, while the GamePad screen is sharp enough to handle all but the most hyperactive scenarios in the palms of your hands.

Or the PS3 controller. It has the worst stick placement and costs $60. ripoff.
At least POWER A offers a PS3 controller with the GC/Xbox/XB360′s stick placement.

I don’t have so much a problem with the stick placement on Sony’s brand of PlayStation 3 controllers as much as I do that retarded D-pad. I’ve never liked the D-pad on any Sony-brand PS controller. Third party the way to go with most modern consoles, though, I think I’m still buying the Nintendo brand of Pro controllers, simply because they’re so sleek and they match the console better than most third-party controllers will, which tend to be motley-colored and matte-surfaced, for some reason..

Wait, don’t you yourself own an Xbox 360 and are on a Windows computer?

I can’t wait to use this at Gaming XPlosion Fest 2012! Also to cosplay as Proto Man, but that’s unrelated…
(For those of you who don’t know, Gaming XPlosion Fest is an event held in Puerto Rico which has tournaments, you can play upcoming consoles before launch, compete in cosplay contests, that kind of stuff)
