…and they’re not being subtle about it. Maybe during the launch week they’ll even set off some fireworks indoors or hire circus clowns to fill-in for the retail staff. I’d be down for that.

i always liked best buy. its almost like heaven for me. its just technology technology technology. sort of. thats where i got my 3ds last year too. i might buy the wii u from them too to make sure they wont have a hard tome trying to stay in business. last year i bought it online then picked it up at the store. i think im going to visit best buy just so that i can smell the sweat smell of brand new hardware.

Lol it really is a cool place. That’s where I got my laptop and Ds/3DS games. Forget Gamestop they lame! (Here called EB Games…)

I like bestbuy too but they are way over priced. I remember about two years ago I needed an emergency dvd drive and went in there to see the cheapest one was $60. Newegg: $14 to my door.

I’m glad the Wii U is gettin so much attention and love. Hopefully this helps people who don’t know much about it become part of the hype.

Cool. But as much as I love Best Buy, I just can’t pass up the benefits of GameStop’s PowerUp Rewards Pro card. Preordering the Wii U then picking it up there is going to put serious points onto the card, which, if enough are earned, can be redeemed for free rewards, like gaming headsets and other accessories. :D

    • Kendall427

Well Best Buy also has a reward zone program with double points for any gaming purchase also there games are way cheaper than gamestop and there tradein value is Wayyy better! And the money you get for them can be used for anything in the store!

Why are there curtains with electronic companies on them?

The bestbuy I go to has this up back in June…

  • Kevmane

Did anyone else notice the GameStop and best buy representatives in the comments? Kinda weird, especially considering the incredible saving to be had at Walmart…

  • SleepyGuyy

I’d be down for that too David… I’d be down for that too..
