Black Ops 2 7

Rich of IGN has clarified that, while Activision wants to release downloadable content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, they’re still sorting out the details with Nintendo. But since Ubisoft isn’t struggling DLC-wise, I think it’s just a matter of time before this is sorted.

Sounds more like an excuse to me to shine more light on the Xbox 360 version of the game in my opinion. Glad to hear it must be working out though!

Please!? I want more zombies DLC, which I sadly never got my hands on them.

  • Hybrilynx

how do you know if it will have dlc anyway?

    • Ice Climbers

It’s Call of Duty, they always have DLC.

    • Hybrilynx

if people know it haz dlc then i understand it as, “hey lets make people pay extra for this and keep it out of the game in retail versions”.

    • Kaizar

Hey Hybrilynx, you do know that in Nintendo 3DS Sound, that each Playlist can contain 300 songs……so if you create 2 to 3 folders with 100 songs in each folder, you can add all 300 songs to 1 Playlist in your 3DS Music Player.

I never got around to telling you this before……..so sorry for the late reply, LOL.

      SHABLAGOO!

    • Hybrilynx

i know. but i still rather have the normal way of doing things, which is to just select the file to play all the songs within that file, even if the songs are within a file in that file. becuz games arent ending anytime soon, so making a playlist for each game that has more then 100 songs is not even worth listening to. especially if i rename a file or something, i have to create a new playlist for everything all over again. and if i just wanted to listen to super nintendo related music, which would be like donkey kong, f-zero, and super metroid related games, you know becuz i just feel like listening to super nintendo music sometimes, a 300 song playlist wouldnt be enough.

i still rather have the 3ds sound just show me each file on the sd card, instead of every single file that has music inside. i mean even the dsi action replay did this. it didnt play songs, but it can show me every file on the sd card. also, i will never like how the 3ds sound loads every file with a song when you turn it on. i honestly turn it on then do something else for awhile becuz it takes too long. im guessing it must read the files where dsi/3dsware is at or something. which then would make sense at least, becuz even my computer takes more then an hour just to copy them.

    • Kaizar

      Oh OK.

But you can get a 32 GB Extreme Pro SD memory card, with a speed of 135mb/s (SD card speed of 135 MB a second, it will say so on the SD card).

Yeah I hate the loading time too, but I will get a 32 GB SD card that does 135 MB/s when the price becomes affordable for my budget, but right now they only sell Ultra 32 GB SD cards for $30, and I want the faster Extreme Pro 32 GB SD card with 135 MB a second speed.

      GO TEAM VENTURE!

  • abe

I get the feeling the issue is price, have you seen how much the season pass costs 34.99 UK/39.99 US

Considering Nintendo found the idea of charging for dlc in animal crossing “unwholesome” I imagine they aren’t happy about this

    • Kaizar

I think its really about the pricing.

Ubisoft is probably wanting to charge a certain amount for DLC, and Nintendo most likely wants it to be noticeably lower in pricing then what Ubisoft is charging on all other electronics.

      WE THE BEST! FOREVER!

  • Ice Climbers

Sounds like Nintendo isn’t happy with Activision wanting to charge $15 a map pack. Who knows? Maybe the map packs for Black Ops 2 will be $5 or something like that on the Wii U, and $15 on Xbox Live and PSN. Then for future CoD games they will be $5 across all three platforms.

    • CBNS

I hope they lower the add-on prices for WiiU. I have owned 4 different COD games for xbox 360 and never bought addons for those games because the high price. I think $5 is fair price for map packs.

Yeah, i think Nintendo wants to keep the DLC free and included on the disc like the other games on the WiiU, but Activision doesnt want that.

    • ryushi

Exactly. Nintendo wants their gamers to have the great deal on DLC, and I get why. They want to keep the support they’ve been showing with all the others like on the 3Ds eShop. Not to mention Microsoft’s contract with Activision is supposed to run out at the end of the year.

  • Pat

Honestly, I hate Call of Duty, but I’m glad that Activision wants to support Nintendo by releasing DLC. Something they would never have done on the Wii.

  • Trulaw

    Nintendo, don’t let DLC
    abuse come to your consoles.

    • Ice Climbers

I don’t think Nintendo will let that happen. Nintendo is against DLC abuse.
