During the recent Nintendo Direct broadcast, Satoru Iwata provided a walkthrough of the Wii U’s video chat feature in tandem with Reggie Fils-Aime. You can check it out after the break.

    can you at least voice chat during a game? without turning the game off?

      Not sure. However, while Iwata wasn’t playing a game in this video, it is possible to suspend a game and then go into video chat I believe.

      Its now official,The FC system aint going to be on the Wii U!

      The Wii U has 5.3 GHz wireless VS. 2.4 GHz Wireless & lower on all other electronics that I can think of.

      I don’t know what that means, but that’s good!

      Well, for one:

      It can pick up a more stronger signal from the same Wi-Fi then other devices in its location.

      And another, is that it can pick more Wi-Fi signals that are even more further away, then other devices can.

      And another is a more faster Wi-Fi speed because of the Wii U’s end. (so a combination of a more powerful speed & greater Wireless GHz, equals much more faster speeds of Wi-Fi connectivity because of the Wii U’s part of the process)

    It may have been a bit far fetched, but I was hoping for a 3DS gamecard slot on top of the gamepad.
