R.I.P. Nintendo Power. It was an amazing magazine.

    • EddKupo

      It was. :c

    • Beat

      T.T

  • http://www.something.com/ TechTris

Now I wait. In the hopes that it shall return as a digital magazine of some sort. Patience is the key to reward… patience…

    • Lord Infamous

Nintendo did say something about continuing the magazine pure digitally.

      (:

    • Ziggy

      Source please

    • Brandon

Nintendo has nothing to do with the magazine.

  • colton

    Zombie u a 9.0? That’s generous

    • Marty

as a survival horror fan I disagree.

  • DanDroid

The flagpole on the last issue is suppose to signify the end of magazine and the end of an era. :)

    • Ziggy

I don’t think the subscriber one had the flagpole. I do have it though

    • TheTEChguy27

The subscriber edition’s cover is exactly the same as the retail one, I think.

    • Ziggy

      Yah, your right

  • EddKupo

    I noticed the original Scribblenauts had a 9.0, Super Scribblenauts a 8.5, and now Scribblenauts Unlimited a 8.0? o.o

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/3TQXCBRGMXMBPY7GVATXIOBGKM Jonn Mcnally

Because the game has been the same and doesn’t have that new smell anymore.

    • Beat

Exactly. If you haven’t played the two its a 9 though.

    • http://twitter.com/cristovar1994 cristopher tovar

which is ironic considering the game just got better with each iteration.

  • Alt

Wow… Tank! Tank! Tank! got a 3.5, huh?

    • Beat

      Not surprised.

  • boyonthemoon

huh… i like the original clay art better, whats up w that

  • Hybrilynx

so why dont they make nintendo power as a digital download in the eshop or something? its hard to tell if im the one who is stupid sometimes though. im sure theres a good explanation why they wont make downloadable versions, but i sure dont know it.

    • Beat

Oooh Nintendo Power on Eshop now there’s an idea.

  • Brandos12

    awww sad day..

  • Boospengi

    NG3:RE a 7.0 good thing

  • http://www.fanfiction.net/u/3204673/ GameManiac

Would anyone believe that I bought the first issue off of eBay for only $25?

    • Big E

      I can’t believe it’s not butter.
Honestly, I wouldn’t pay that much for a magazine no matter how “classic” it is. Just me though.

    • http://www.fanfiction.net/u/3204673/ GameManiac

      Good.
Although I was lucky in getting it for so low. They’re normally twice to three times that price.

    • Big E

      (;゜0゜)
      (ー ー;)

  • ewaugh

ya right zombiu a 9 thats bullshit

  • :O

Did they really give Nintendo Land a 7.0???? YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!

    • Beat

Why does it deserve better than that? It doesn’t really have great replayability, even if they games are fun.

  • Eric

And so, a 24 year legend, ends.

  • anon

I mean, it’s silly to criticize NP scores given that they’re obviously not unbiased, but Batman AC 9 and Epic Mickey 7, really? 1 point for every FPS I guess.

    • Beat

What are you talking about? Batman and AC aren’t fps.

  • BellaKazza

This is a sad day, rest in peace Nintendo Power. Go to hell Game Informer, I hate you.

  • PrimalMoron

Nintendo Power will NEVER be forgotten, it helped me meet my best friend in the world IRL. No joke, it started as a simple talk over someone who read it as well, and became friendship that lasted almost 6-7 years… Guess Nintendo was right, video games CAN bring people together. Rest in peace, Nintendo Power!
